Our Mission
The Brickyard Battalion and its affiliate group members mission is to create an inspiring fan environment and a groundswell of support for Indy Eleven. We will do this through fostering an increased level of passionate support through community events, gatherings and volunteerism. The BYB was created to enable community coordination and participation in activities that will lead to the eventual development of in-stadium support for our team on an unprecedented scale for a professional soccer team in Indianapolis and in the United Soccer League.
The Brickyard Battalion (BYB), established August 3, 2011, was founded to support soccer in Indianapolis with the eventual goal to bring back a professional team to the great city of Indianapolis. We are an independent supporter group of Indy Eleven.
The BYB works to ensure that the passion our community showed on day one never dies. The passion recognized by the City of Indianapolis in an official resolution signed on February 25, 2013, pledging their support to the BYB’s efforts.
We’ve supported our team through different stadiums and leagues, tough situations, heartbreaking losses and electrifying victories—like the Miracle at the Mike. No matter the on-field results, our support will never waiver. We’ve seen a tremendous amount of growth and we look to continue making the BYB the best supporters group in the world.
Despite our growth and success, we won’t sit back and relax. The BYB isn’t just for match day, it’s for every day. Join us to build a better soccer experience and a better community.
